Update 1.04 (26/10/2020) The Orb Within.


Happy almost Halloween! 

The time has come for the next update!

Edit: Might want to do a fresh install since it might overlap with some things... (Delete the older files minus the Save file.)

ALSO HOTFIX FOR INCORRECT PATHING.

So what's in store for this 1.04 update?

The main focus of this build will be the nature of the orbs and what they're capable of.

I'm also introducing the last RO candidate in this build... Guess who it is!

Jacob's and Steve's character sprite have also been implemented ^^.

Fixes and Changes:

  • A fair bit of proofreading....
  • Norman's CG should have the correct description now.

New Updates:

  • Introduction to a new character. (With Assets!)
  • You get to spend more time with the Pierre and the new character, and Gran has returned!
  • New Splashscreens  (There are 4 variants now.)
  • A new CG.
  • A new main menu theme. (1/3 chance to appear.)
  • Added New musics,  more sfxs and BGs.
  • More dialogues.

Future Plans:

  • Make the VN look or feel a bit more animated.
  • Create new clothes for Dave and Gran. (Already a work in progress!)
  • New sprites for side characters and/or main ones.
  • Continuation of the story...
  • To create CG Gallery and/or Music.
  • Create more CGs.
  • Maybe create a sprite for the MC...?
  • (NEW) Optimise storage usage. (Reduce file size)
  • Some other things that I haven't really thought about...

Ah yes, I hate when I go to heal someone's hand and the stick doesn't move.

Jokes aside, I really liked finally seeing what each of the orbs does, even if the green orb was randomly stealing some of the blue dialogue. Can't wait to drive the main character to an early grave by using these too much.

Wait, I thought I already fixed that...? Hahaha, maybe I missed something again... ^^' Yikes. Well, thank you for reading either way. ^^

Great update! I'm in love with the new character!
And about the MC sprite, I think it would be a nice idea if  he's going to appear in some CGs!

Hey also noticed that he always assumes blue orb.  I went back and started from beginning and made sure I picked a different color and it was the same.  Mentions blue but not the color I originally picked.

Really? That shouldn't be the case... Would you mind telling me what version are you using? (PC, Android or MAC) And if you already did a fresh re-install of the game? 

I always picked blue orb so no problem for me😊
