Just started reading and oh boy it threw me off pretty well. The story is well written and the choices can have a different end to it. Not gonna throw details since it may be a spoiler. However it's pretty good can't wait for further updates.
Something about Pierre rubs me the wrong way... Like how he seems so infatuated with the player before even meeting him. I really don't trust him at all.
I get the vibe that he's got a bad case of 'hero worship' or something along that line directed towards the player's father, like when he says he could never call 'the son of Yorke' by first name.
That line in particular set off MASSIVE warning bells in my head, like he's either buttering up the player to get something in return, or else only showing the player such respect to get in his father's good graces.

I get the feeling it's an issue with interpretation and writing, considering the fact that he's a selectable route, but regardless, I get major bad vibes from Pierre, from the obvious infatuation and the potential ulterior motives, I wouldn't trust the dude with a dollar, much less my freedom, authorized by the police or otherwise.

In the dev log for 1.07, the dev says they had already gotten Norman's first day partially written so that is a very strong indicator that Norman is next.
Another question. So I reached the part where you can choose between the five characters which path you want to go. So far the menu is only letting me pick between Dave and Gran. Any idea why it won't let me pick any of the others? For example I really want to date the chief and went to lunch with him.
I apologize if I'm asking something that has already been asked a bunch of times...I did try checking through the comments. I just hate suspense...Lol. It's just without a guide I'm not sure where routes start splitting.
Yes, Norman is dateable. There'll be a section of the VN where you get to select which route to lock into. It's fairly clear. Of course, the choices you made prior to that does have some effect.
Thank you for replying and creating this wonderful game. It was similar with the game Kingsguard where you were eventually able to lock on. I love that the game takes time to diverge and introduce everything. It makes it feel more immersive and exciting. I'm literally sitting on the edge of my seat, being careful about what choice I make. I always save frequently when I come to a choice so that I can go back if I don't like the way things are going. Which means I'm invested, so thank you.
So the next update we won't have route for the male character and instead we can only dates sally? I understand about removing NSFW content but why changing the routes? @_@ I like all of them...

I REALLY enjoyed playing through this novel! Although this was my first playthrough, I liked how the the characters interacted with each other....it was realistic and not so script like. The characters acted like normal people, and I like how it isn't your typical "my memories are gone help me" type of story, but rather this idea of finding your place in the new world. And also seeing characters smile felt super rewarding.
